Road Biking

Road biking is amazing in this area. The most famous ride is of course the Mont Ventoux. Chez Armand Gite is well situated on the road up the Mont Ventoux from Bedoin for you to conquer this beautiful mountain. 

There are lots of easier and flatter routes available from the gite as well. Take in the local provencal villages and vine yards with a trip through Beaume de Venise and out towards Seguret for example.

Eating out

There are numerous options to eat out in and around the Gite, something for everyone!

You have 2 restaurants within walking distance of the Gite. Bar Restaurant Du Mont Ventoux in Flassan and Le Viarge at the top of the road.

In the village of Bedoin you have lots of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. We recommend reserving and have written you a guide on our instagram page so you have photos, reviews and contact details of all the restaurants we have tried.

Wine Tasting

There are numerous wine caves in the area including our family domaine, S'Aramnd of the domaine du Naste. 

Locally in Bedoin our favourites are Terre du Ghaya and Paul Vendran, ferme Saint-Pierre.

And of course we have Chateau Neuf du Pape within a short drive of the property as well.

We are always on hand to help you with local information including the best caves to visit and those that offer tasting and information tours etc.

Relax by the pool

Spend the day relaxing by the pool. You will be able to admire the amazing views from the pool terrace on one of the comfy relaxers.

This is a salt water pool so ecological and soft on your skin! - a real luxury to swim in.

We have provided solid plastic glasses to enjoy your aperitif by the pool in complete security.

The pool has a safety cover for when it isn't in use to keep everyone safe.

Days out

Avignon

Avignon is only 30 mins drive from the property and offers loads to do.
Avignon is renowned for its festival, medieval streets and of course the Popes palace. 

Orange

Orange is a traditional roman town full of history with the Arc du triumph and its very own Amphitheatre.
The Amphitheatre is a great place to visit with its very own escape game and 3D tours.

​The music is also well worth the trip with both classical, opera and modern music being played here. 

Provencal villages

There are numerous provencal villages that make for a great day out from the property.
These include Gordes, Beau de Provence, Isle sur la Sorge, Fontaine de Vaucluse and many more.
